Saving Face 

Doctors at Cleveland Clinic will soon attempt the first ever face transplant. I believe there are people ravaged by disease or disfigured by injury for whom this operation will be the most viable alternative. However, I suspect that most of the patients will be celebrities and celebrity-wannabes who seek to enhance their appearance.

Here's my list of the ideal celebrity surgical candidates:
  1. Michael Jackson
  2. Cher
  3. Lyle Lovett
  4. Steve Buscemi
  5. Sandra Bernhard
  6. Mike Tyson
  7. Steven Tyler
  8. Ben Stein
  9. Joan Rivers
  10. Dennis Rodman
For some patients, even a botched transplant might constitute an improvement.
